Born Brooklyn, New York, 1964. Graduate of the University of Tampa, B.S. 1986,with honors, and Stetson University College of Law, J. D. 1992, with high honors.
She is a member of the Florida Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Jacksonville Bar Association. Admitted to practice before the Federal Courts for the Northern, Southern and Middle Districts of Florida.
Ms. Kenney is a real estate and business law attorney whose practice focuses on complex commercial transactions. She has particular experience in senior independent and assisted living projects including site acquisition, construction, licensure, and operations. Accounting, title and tax strengths facilitate negotiations on strategic and regulatory issues. She represents both landlords and tenants in commercial leasing matters, routinely handling issues concerning the ownership, operation and leasing of retail and industrial properties.
Ms. Kenney serves as outside general counsel to several real estate developers and operators with properties throughout Florida and the Southeast.
